As it turned, the house was not his. Police were called back to the area a short time later after the man allegedly damaged another home. The man also allegedly damaged a police vehicle while he was being transported to the county jail.
And in more bizarre crime news, a Casa Grande man is facing charges after he allegedly head-butted an officer. Officers were called because the man was allegedly damaging the inside of a Casa Grande store. After being transported to jail, the man allegedly head-butted a county services officer.
Also, some Florence residents are puzzled as to why the town staff would recommend putting a new two-story utilities maintenance facility building with seven recycling bins in their neighborhood. The residents objected to the plans for the new building at a recent town council meeting. They raised concerns about blowing trash, flies, rodents and possible health issues.
