Casa Grande Police are investigating a shooting that took place at the Goodwill store in Casa Grande yesterday afternoon. The suspect was arrested after he was spotted running into another store. Here’s the latest on how the victim is doing..

Also, two Casa Grande residents have been charged with aggravated assault in two separate incidents. A Casa Grande woman was charged with aggravated assault after allegedly using a knife to injure a man. Also, a Casa Grande man was charged with assault after he allegedly kicked in the door to a home and kicked a police officer.

And the Florence Town Council is hoping the county will start looking at making improvements to local roads after speaking with Pinal County Supervisor Jeff Serdy. Serdy’s district was recently redrawn to include parts of Florence and he stopped by the council’s July 19 meeting to introduce himself. During the meeting council members rattled off a list of wanted road improvements.
