Long weekends make the workweek even longer. Just a few more days and we get to that sweet Memorial Day weekend. Luckily, Loupe is locked and loaded to ensure you have plenty of entertainment to get you there. Here’s what we have on tap this week:

What’s new this week? The biggest releases are an interesting bunch.

The most high-profile launch is 2021-22 Panini Impeccable Basketball. Besides coming with five hard-signed autographs per pack, Impeccable is the product where you can get gold or silver bars in the card. Whenever the cards have precious metals in them, you know it’s top shelf.

Speaking of top shelf, Upper Deck is going bar-down on its newest product. Upper Deck Stature features a single 8-card pack per box, and it includes a guaranteed auto, some parallels, a rookie card, and bonus hit. This is another fun release while we wait for flagship Series 2.

How hot were we last week? Hot like Golden State’s offense. Here are the biggest hits on Loupe last week:

Crackin’ Wax landed a big one with a Mike Trout auto /15 from Topps Tribute (which still has one of our favorite designs of any modern cards). Susie Sports pulled a Mac Jones RPA booklet from National Treasures. Big box + Big QB = Big Hit.

Hot Corner hit a Wander Franco RPA /25 from Topps Sterling. Casa Breaks found a 1/1 Bo Bichette buttoned-up RPA out of Topps Definitive Collection.
