The world’s rarest canine: Earlier this year, conservationists released 10 red wolves into eastern North Carolina—nearly doubling the entire population in the area. Despite initial success, of those released this year, six are dead, one is missing, and three have been returned to captivity, Nat Geo reports. Growing their own: Fresh from their garden, Lonko Florentino Cayun and Albina Cayulef (pictured above) hold vegetables grown around Argentina’s Lácar Lake.
