I am Marbe, a global corporate projects specialist at Mercy For Animals. Based in Jalisco, Mexico, I share my life with Boris and Osito, two beautiful black dogs my family and I rescued near our home.
Today, I write to you about one of the world’s largest foodservice companies, Delaware North, which provides services for parks, airports, and some of the biggest sport and entertainment venues.
While Delaware North has a cage-free policy for its egg supply chains in the United States and the UK, it has not extended the policy to its operations in the Asia-Pacific region.
Mercy For Animals believes that animals and consumers deserve the same standards everywhere.
No hen deserves to be trapped in a cage.
We are calling on Delaware North to ban cages in its supply chain globally and help reduce suffering for some of the billions of hens in the egg industry.
Please join this campaign and urge Delaware North to go cage-free globally through these actions:
Visit the campaign website to send an email to Delaware North leaders asking them to extend the company’s current cage-free-egg policy for the United States and the UK to the rest of its global operations.
P.S. If you have an extra minute, please leave a polite reply to Delaware North’s latest tweet, sharing the website and asking the company to ban cages globally.
