Welcome to the first ShrineLines edition of 2025! This edition features Shriners Children’s Chicago’s Press Ganey awards, a heartwarming story of Emanuel’s haircut, and our top doctors in 2024.

We are proud to announce that Shriners Children’s Chicago has received five prestigious Human Experience awards in 2024, including four Press Ganey Guardian of Excellence awards and one Pinnacle of Excellence award. These recognitions reflect the dedication of our employees in delivering exceptional care and experiences, as highlighted by the Press Ganey surveys completed by our families.

A Display of Community

When Emanuel needed a haircut, Hector, the father of another patient and a professional barber, generously offered his services. Bringing his tools to Shriners Children’s Chicago, he provided Emanuel with the haircut of his dreams, leaving him with newfound confidence and joy. This act of kindness highlights the strong sense of community among our patients and families.
