The American public is about to become intimately familiar with the term judicial retention but by the time you see this phrase on the news it will be too late.

Each decade Pennsylvanians vote to retain (reelect) their Supreme Court justices. This November, the three democratic justices that make up the Democratic majority on the PA court are up for retention and MAGA has launched a full court press to remove them.

This may seem like a parochial issue that will only matter to PA voters but we can assure you that the GOP, who is spending Presidential election type money to remove these judges, does not see it this way.

Losing means GOP control of key swing state PA for the next decade and beyond. That means:

• 19 electoral college votes guaranteed for President Trump when he seeks a third term in 2028.
• The erasure of all Democratic districts from PA’s congressional map in time to save GOP midterm prospects for 2026.
• An extreme abortion ban imposed on Pennsylvania women.

This is the straw that breaks the camels back. A deathblow for American Democracy. Millions of lives ruined. Fascism triumphant.

And a loss here is exactly what Democrats are on track for. Saddled with astronomical campaign debt from the Kamala Harris campaign, the DNC has all but declared bankruptcy, and will be in no position to help us mount a comeback. All the while MAGA is up on TV, has thousands of canvassers, and is poised to pull off a shocking win.

Defend our Courts is ringing the alarm bells and is scrambling to mount a desperate defense. We can rally but with just 65 days left time is running out. Can we count on you to donate $50, $25, or even $5, to help us avert this catastrophe?
