Yudith often cried because her 5-year-old daughter, Nihan, had a heart defect and lacked the stamina to walk. They live in Bolivia, where the complex heart procedure Nihan needed wasn’t readily available. But Yudith was overjoyed when she learned that Nihan would receive the life-giving surgery through Children’s Heart Project at our partner hospital in the Caribbean. We also connected mother and daughter with a Christian host family and a local church. We praise God that through their Gospel witness, Yudith came to faith in Jesus Christ and was baptized.Mend a Child’s Heart
