Recently, a team of researchers set out to find if there was a link between eating fish and living longer. And the results are in: a diet rich in seafood lowers mortality rates.
The study found that people who ate the most fish had a 9% overall lower mortality risk than those who ate the least. When the researchers factored in Omega 3 levels they found an astounding 15-18% reduction in cardiovascular mortality.
So can fish make you live forever? Sadly, no. But the protective power of fish in your diet could lead to a longer, healthier life.
