When people think of the best putters in golf history, there are a number of usual suspects who show up on the list. Jack Nicklaus and his 18 majors are often mentioned as well as Brad Faxon, Billy Casper and who could forget Tom Watson 1982 U.S. Open at Pebble Beach.
One of the quickest ways to lower your scores and make golf more fun is to avoid three-putting. The key is to get that first putt so close, it alleviates stress. If the ball doesn’t fall into the hole, you leave yourself a short tap-in. Sounds good, right?
