Participants can also beat the crowds by taking advantage of pre-registration and early check-in on Wednesday, December 31, from 2:00–4:00 PM, where wristbands and shirts can be picked up in advance—plus early birds earn an extra Penguin Swim item.Registration is $30 per person through December 30, and $35 on December 31 or January 1. All swimmers must register and check in to receive a wristband for beach access.Whether you’re diving in or cheering from the sand, this fun, frigid plunge supports Atlantic General Hospital and our community’s Healthcare Heroes—making it a truly feel-good way to ring in the new year! New layouts, Fire & Ice nights with live music. On select evenings, hop aboard a buggy for a horse-drawn carriage ride through the lights! Reserve a 2 or 6 person carriage or reserve individual seats on the 12-seat carriage.The Winterfest of Trains is now rolling into the main Winterfest of Lights Tent in sheds provided by Woodland Sheds of Bishopville! The Ocean City Beach Patrol is very happy to be joined by the Delaware Seaside Railroad Club again this year as it brings two interactive displays to the Park. NEW YEARS’ EVE CELEBRATIONS!There are plenty of options across the county! Ocean City is ringing in 2025 with two fireworks displays, Snow Hill’s famous Goat Drop at 6 pm, and Berlin’s New Year’s Eve celebration at 6 pm!
