It feels like a competitive, close game is the most we can ask of the Super Bowl. We got that in spades, as this was probably the most entertaining championship game since the Eagles knocked off the Patriots. Every drive felt important, and there was never a moment where you were comfortable ducking out to the kitchen to snag more snacks.

So, well-played to both teams. Congrats to all the new champions like Matt Stafford, Aaron Donald, and Odell Beckham Jr. They spent their careers among the top at their positions (especially Stafford who was criminally overlooked on all those bad Detroit teams), and it’s great they’re getting a ring.

And, chin up to all the dejected Cincy fans. With superstars-in-the-making like Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase, you’re gonna be competitive for a long time. You just need some guys up front who make sure Joe Cool stays upright. Taking seven sacks in a Super Bowl is a big yikes.

• Triple Crown’s Monday Night Raw Sale (Monday, 8pm ET) — Triple Crown has a big raw singles sale on Monday. Come beef up your personal collection with some singles at great prices.
• Buff’s Breaks Early Topps Series 1 Rip (Tuesday, 9:30pm ET) — Buff’s Breaks is one of the first sellers in the world to sell the new Topps Series 1! Stay up late and break 2022 baseball before everyone else.

   

All the Hits That Are Fit to Print

You know the drill by now. Let’s get straight to the heaters.

Last season’s Rookie of the Year showed up when Ry$ Down South pulled this nasty Justin Herbert RPA /10 from Panini One. And this year’s Rookie of the Year showed too as Hit Seekers found this big ol’ Ja’Marr Chase RPA out of Immaculate. Actually, Ja’Marr made another high-profile appearance when Susie Sports hit this 1/1 patch card out of Immaculate.

We’ll get back to football in a second, but we hit some fire from other sports. We got this sick Juan Soto bat knob auto from Five Star (Ry$ Rips), a Maradona auto from Donruss (Triple Crown), a Jordan Lawlar 1st Bowman auto /199 from Bowman Chrome (Crackin’ Wax), a Marcelo Mayer 1st Bowman auto from Bowman Draft (Valor Cards), and a 1/1 Joe DiMaggio bat relic card from Immaculate (Coach Chris CO).

Rookies & Stars debuted and we found some cool autos — like a Trevor Lawrence auto /49 (Kentucky Roadshow), and a Jaylen Waddle auto /25 (Casa Breaks). We also found a pair of legendary Packers. Susie Sports hit Leaf Art of Sports autos of Aaron Rodgers /4 and a Brett Favre 1/1.

Immaculate Football treated us really well this week. LMS Box Breaks hit a Trevor Lawrence RPA. LMS also found a Najee Harris nameplate RPA /6. Casa pulled an all-black Mac Jones RPA /75. Heat Check went big with a Mac Jones hat patch /4, and (maybe the prettiest pull of the week) a 1/1 Joe Burrow Nike swoosh blue ink auto.

Football season might be over but the sports world doesn’t slow down. Neither does Loupe. We’ll see you this week for the Topps Series 1 release and NBA All-Star Weekend. There’s a ton to look forward to, and there are a lot of monster hits just waiting to be pulled.
