Factory Farming Is Scary

Hello Peter,

Ghosts, goblins, and ghouls are nowhere as terrifying as factory farming.

Last year, we partnered with Elvira, Mistress of the Dark, and launched an animated video revealing the chilling reality of the food system.

Trust us, it’s more terrifying than anything you’ll see this Halloween.

As Elvira says, horror belongs in the movies, not in factory farms. But with each factory farm we investigate, the more horrors we witness.

Our most recent investigation exposes the cruel practices the meat industry is fighting to hold on to. Footage shows pregnant pigs confined in metal cages barely larger than their bodies—unable to lie down comfortably or even turn around for nearly their entire lives.

This footage is more horrifying than any scary movie I’ve ever seen, Peter.

While these videos are heartbreaking, they show the world the dreadful reality for animals stuck in our food system.
