There’s no better way to celebrate the holidays than with a parade of light-draped floats and vehicles set to the music of Christmas carols. Coolidge is holding its parade, and a party, in San Carlos Park on Friday. The Christmas in the Park party promises food, fun, music, crafts, and a visit from Santa! 🎅 🎄

In state news, Gov. Doug Ducey is saying he won’t call for a special session of the legislature to deal with a school funding issue unless legislators also agree to tackle some unfinished business he has before he leaves office. If the legislature doesn’t resolve the funding issue before March 1, schools could be face major budget cuts.
