While Maricopa has blossomed into a large and vibrant city, it truly came from humble beginnings. Before city staff moved into their official city hall, the government was being run out of a few double-wide trailers located in the Heritage District.

In this piece from the latest Copacetic magazine, we take a look at how the city hall everyone knows came about. First opened in 2013, the Maricopa City Hall includes all the amenities any city could want.

Now, when developers and investors want to meet with the mayor, they do so in lavish conference rooms, not wherever there’s space in a double-wide. While the city has come a long way from its first years of incorporation, there is still an oppurtunity for Maricopa to grow and expand.
