The weather is starting to get warmer, which means outdoor events, activities and entertainment opportunities in Arizona usually start to wane.
But there are more than a few organizations and people in the Maricopa area are working to make the hot summer months more enjoyable for residents of all ages.

Maricopa Community Theater helps all ages fall in love with theater
One local organization you might want to try out is the Maricopa Community Theater. The organization welcomes all to its family and hopes to bring entertainment and culture to the local community.
The theater is currently working on its production of the musical “Gypsy.”
MCT president and director of “Gypsy” Brittany Randolph said she got her start in theater as a high school student and said it helped her come out of her shell and form her as a person.
