Editor’s Note: There’s always something new to discover in Pinal County. It’s one of the things I love most about living and working here. In fact, sometimes it can be difficult to get a complete picture of just how much there is to see and explore in this area.
Pinal from A to Z…
That’s why we put together this A-Z Guide; it gives a broad view of what the county offers in alphabetical order — this includes unique places to see, like the James Hart Memorial, but it also encompasses activities like ziplining as well as features that make up our county’s landscape like interstates and mountain ranges.
We all enjoyed putting together this issue for different reasons and we hope the stories in these pages encourage you to step outside your own comfort zone, see new things and try new activities. Happy exploring!
Much like the Midwest gets unfairly labeled as “flyover states,” Pinal County has often been stuck with the reputation of a “drive-through” area, a place one must pass by to get from Phoenix to Tucson, or vice versa.
