One of the things Beth Shope Pineda loves most about working up in the grocery store industry is the people, whether they be the store’s vendors, employees or customers.
“It’s so fun when I’m working in an aisle and I meet somebody new who has just moved to the area, or I visit with a customer who has shopped here since I was a child. It’s all about the people,” she said.
Pineda’s family has a long history in the industry, with Shope’s IGA in Coolidge dating back to her parents and grandparents. She shares some of her favorite foods the store sells, and a family recipe with us here.
