Dear Friends,
December is here, and as Buddy the Elf once said, “The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear!” While we may not ask you to sing, we certainly invite you to join us for a month filled with joy and gathering here at the Hayner.
This year has been truly spectacular, and we are so grateful for your continued support of the arts and community. As we wrap up the year, we invite you to reflect on the memories we’ve made and look forward to the wonderful new chapter ahead. We hope to see you this month as we celebrate the season together!

Leave Your Indelible Mark on the Hayner Center Legacy
Charlie Brown tells us “It’s not what’s under the Christmas tree that matters, but who’s around it” from A Charlie Brown Christmas.
The Troy-Hayner Cultural Center is creating a beautiful commemorative coffee table book for our 50th Anniversary in 2026. This book is a celebration of the generations of families, friendships, and artistic moments that have brought this elegant mansion to life.
If you have a cherished memory—from a first art class to a favorite concert or a grand family event—we want to preserve the details of that moment.
The window to submit your story is closing soon so that we can finalize the content and ensure the book is printed and ready for the anniversary celebrations.
How to Contribute:
- You can share your memory by writing it directly into our form.
- If you prefer to tell a story rather than write it, the form also provides an option to request a one-on-one interview with the curator.
This is your chance to contribute to the Hayner Center legacy!
