D-backs select Druw Jones with second pick in MLB Draft

With the second overall pick in the 2022 MLB Draft, the D-backs selected outfielder Druw Jones. The son of former Major Leaguer Andruw Jones, Druw was the No. 1 overall prospect in the Draft according to MLB Pipeline and Baseball America. He was the Gatorade Georgia Player of the Year for 2022 after hitting .570 AVG with 7 doubles, 3 triples, 13 home runs, 39 RBI, 33 walks (9 strikeouts) and 32 stolen bases.
