Yesterday, Pinal County Elections Director Geraldine Roll abruptly quit, citing county management’s reluctance to stand up for her amid partisan personal attacks. Roll had plenty to say about the circumstances of her departure.

In Florence, the town successfully challenged its 2020 Census results, leading to Florence adding 786 residents to the population. Florence spokesperson Jeff Graves said the additional population could bring the city anywhere from $384,000 to $460,000 in additional funding.
