The Fed met market expectations by delivering yet another rate hike at its May FOMC meeting – raising the target federal funds rate by +0.25% to an upper limit of 5.25%.
While the Fed’s fight against inflation isn’t over yet, it looks like we could be at the beginning of the end of this rate hiking cycle with the market pricing in less than a 15% chance of an additional rate hike at their June14 meeting.
