Through federal grants, affordable housing and street repair projects are being scheduled for this year. During a public meeting last week, the Pinal County Board of Supervisors staff said they are anticipating a Community Development Block Grant of $2 million and about $620,000 through their HOME investment partnership.

And, in Maricopa, the Maricopa Economic Development Alliance is finding new ways to attract businesses to the city. At the latest city council meeting, MEDA presented the council with their progress.
