2023 Annual Meeting
All NAMI Northern Virginia members in good standing are invited to our 2023 Annual Membership Meeting on Sunday, August 27, 2023 from 3 pm to 4:30 pm.
During this in-person annual meeting, you will get:
updates on our 2022-2023 year and the strategic vision for 2023-2024.
program updates, including new programs and ideas.
updates on our financial health.
vote on our Board of Directors slate and on proposed changes to our bylaws.

*NEW* NAMI Peer-to-Peer Class Open for Registration!
NAMI Peer-to-Peer is a free, eight-session educational program for adults with mental health conditions who are looking to better understand themselves and their recovery. Taught by trained leaders with lived experience, this program includes activities, discussions and informative videos. However, as with all NAMI programs, it does not include recommendations for treatment approaches.
This class will be meeting on Tuesdays from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, starting on September 5th until October 24th. Sessions will held virtually on Zoom.

NAMI Virginia only has a few more training opportunities in the coming months! The application deadline for the September Connection Support GroupTraining (Virtual) is August 30th, 2023.
We are looking for volunteers through all of Northern Virginia region including Arlington, Alexandria, Falls Church, Fairfax County, and Loudoun County. Training and materials are provided at no cost to endorsed applicant!

Do you enjoy connecting with other peers in recovery, and help facilitate a group meeting to provide support and resources ? Join NAMI Connection Support Group facilitator team.
Do you have passion to help educate peers in a class setting to support their recovery journey with activities and discussions? Join our NAMI Peer-to-Peer Class facilitator team.
Are you a Mental Health Professional with a personal mental health experience willing to share your story and educate local healthcare providers? Join NAMI Provider team.
