Seventy years is a long time! Having only just celebrated our twentieth birthday, we’re somewhat in awe of this year’s celebration of Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee. Acceding to the throne on the 6th of February 1952, Her Majesty has just become the first British monarch – and the fourth monarch ever – to celebrate seventy years of service.
With all this celebrating, we thought a new card might be in order, so we’ve created our most quintessentially British card yet – a note card depicting London’s celebrations – complete with Union Jacks, clamouring crowds, and, of course, the Queen herself in her iconic brightly-coloured coat and hat.
Summer is almost here, so here are a few of our favourite summery cards – perfect for warm wishes, aestival alohas, and perhaps the invitations to your celebratory Jubilee garden party?
Handy tip! The Kitchen expansion pack for our Country Cottage is here! Don’t forget to watch the daily videos for extra points – if you missed one of them, or would like to watch one again, just click on the ellipsis (…) and then the calendar icon.
