Remembering 9/11

This weekend marks the 21^st anniversary of 9/11 when 19 Saudi-trained radical Islamic terrorists attacked our country.  It is a time to reflect on all those who lost their lives and remember the service to our nation by our military and first responders who helped our country recover from that sickening day.

Gosar to Veterans Affairs Secretary: Stop Murdering Innocent Babies

This week, I send a letter to Veterans Affairs (VA) Secretary McDonough expressing my outrage and demanding he immediately rescind a recently announced policy that the VA would begin illegally providing abortion services.

The VA is knowingly violating current law as the Hyde Amendment restricts abortions for military members and Section 106 of the Veterans Health Care Act of 1992 explicitly prohibits the VA from providing abortions services – both of which are still the law of land.   The VA’s decision to expand and promote abortion services, regardless of state restrictions, is blatantly illegal.  Moreover, using taxpayer dollars to conduct this heinous action is a direct attack on the consciences of millions of Americas and goes against decades of precedent prohibiting taxpayer funded abortions.

Gosar Demands Answers to Pinal County Voting Irregularities

Did you know that 63,000 Primary Day ballots were mailed to voters in Pinal County without listing local races?  Adding insult to injury, many voting sites in Pinal County ran out of ballots on the actual day of the primary.  Sadly, voting irregularities have become all too common and I am determined to make certain the peoples’ right to vote is not incumbered by careless mistakes, mismanagement or deliberate actions.

With Election Day in November fast approaching I sent a letter this week to Pinal County Elections Department Director Virginia Ross seeking assurances that the department demonstrate with maximum transparency the substance and reasons for the past errors on Primary Day and what steps are being taken to ensure these mistakes will not happen again.

Gosar Attends Veterans Stand Down

This week I was honored to attend the Veterans’ Stand Down in Parker to help provide resources and services to our Veteran community in Mohave County.  I would like to thank everyone who came out to show support or sponsored this event for our veterans and their families.

Speaking of Mail…It’s Mail Time! 

You may have heard from some snowflakes on the Left complaining recently about receiving hate mail.  You and I know, as conservatives we are constantly being attacked by the so-called “tolerant left.”  Let me share with you a small sampling of the hate mail I received just this week. 

Sandra D. from Chino Valley writes:

You are an a**hole and I wish you would just crawl under a rock. I am so happy you will NOT be representing Yavapai Co after the midterms.

Nancy S. from Chandler sends:

When law-enforcement are doing their job do not defund them. What Donald J Trump in trouble with the law. Let them do their job. They collected evidence of a crime. He should not have taken any secret documents out of the White House and store them unsecure. This puts every American at risk. Let law-enforcement do their goddamn job. And arrest criminals like Donald J Trump. So f**k you!

Rhonda G. had this to say:

Stop your E mails to me I hate this guy he isn’t fit for congress.

You and your buddy Trump are continuing your attacks against America. Remember we independents have guns and will defend our country. I am a retired Marine and know how to use them. Your base will not go unopposed. You need to resign IMMEDIATELY as you are a criminal and have committed crimes against the constitution and the people of America. You are not worthy to hold any office in the governement nor anywhere else.You are being investigated for those crimes and you will be held accountable. Hope you enjoy watching your back……. If you want to escape, I suggest you move in with your other buddy in North Korea……
