Supreme Court Slams Leftist Colorado Ballot Ruling

In a stinging rebuke this week, the Supreme Court reversed a Colorado Supreme Court ruling that purported to keep President Trump off the ballot during this election cycle.  The decision was not unexpected by educated lawyers and scholars who predicted this.  Only the delusional lawyers on MSNBC or the Arizona Republic couldn’t see this coming.

The fact that the Supreme Court decision in favor of President Trump was 9-0, even the Court’s liberal justices voted to overrule the Colorado court, tells you how insanely biased the leftist judges have become.

Let’s recap:  Several states, including Colorado, Illinois and Maine, purported to take President Trump off the ballot, thus preventing millions of voters from voting for the person of their choice.   The pretext used by these states was the 14th Amendment, relative to a Civil War provision that barred members of the Confederacy, under certain circumstances, from holding federal office.

The Supreme Court held that only Congress can set the terms for federal office and only Congress can block someone from being on a federal ballot.  And, not to be forgotten, President Trump did not engage in an “insurrection” in any manner whatsoever.   In fact, he admonished a crowd to march “peacefully.”   He even requested 10,000 National Guard troops to guard the Capitol (see my next story for more on this).

These same lunatic leftists claim that Republicans are a “threat to democracy.”  On January 5, 2024, Biden called President Trump “a threat to democracy.”  Biden previously said Republicans are threats to democracy.  The real threat to “democracy” (don’t forget, we are a constitutional republic, and there is a big difference between that and a “democracy”) are Democrats.  They have used lawfare to illegally take President Trump off the ballot.  They have weaponized the IRS, the FBI, the Department of Defense, the State Department, the Department of Education and state and local prosecutors, to attack their political opponents, jail their opponents, create hoaxes and fake stories for the Fake News, impose large fines against their opponents, censure their opponents and stop their opponents from communicating with their voters, and essentially mirror the political tactics socialists have used globally in banana republics and third world countries.

This is the new America under the Democrat socialists.  Hopefully, not for long.

January 6 Committee Suppressed Evidence

Here is a story you won’t hear or read about from the Fake News: this week it was reported that the corrupt J6 Committee hid evidence and suppressed a transcript proving that President Trump asked for 10,000 National Guard troops to guard the Capitol.  The lengths the sham J6 Committee went to so it could cover up the truth and protect its own agenda should be appalling to all Americans.

You may recall several weeks ago that I wrote about the J6 Committee’s failure to preserve all records related to their sham investigation of the events that occurred on January 6, 2021.  At the time, I noted that my colleague, Representative Loudermilk, confirmed that the J6 committee destroyed the videotaped depositions of witnesses.  Congressman Loudermilk further shared that the J6 Committee also deleted 117 encrypted files just days before the new Republican majority took control of Congress rather than hand them over to Republicans.  These videotaped depositions are key in charging certain witnesses with perjury.

I will remind the Fake News such as the AZ Republic who troll my weekly newsletter that I refer to the J6 Committee as a sham committee because it is invalid.  That’s because then-Speaker Pelosi refused to seat the five Republicans members chosen by then Leader Kevin McCarthy to serve on the committee.  As a result, the committee was operating without a contingent of members appointed by the minority party and it was nothing more than a partisan political charade.  That is also another reason why the subpoenas issued by the J6 Committee have no legal standing.  House rules for subpoenas and depositions require consultation between majority and minority members, which was impossible because the J6 Committee had no formal GOP-appointed members.

132 Republicans Vote in Favor of Pelosi-Biden Budget

Staving off a partial government shutdown, Congress passed a budget this week to fund a portion of the government for the remainder of the year.  207 Democrats joined 132 Republicans in voting in favor of the budget deal that was negotiated by Nancy Pelosi and Joe Biden nearly 15 months ago.  That tells you all you need to know. The bill was over 1,000 pages and no amendments were allowed.  Congress reverted to its old ways of writing massive, pork-filled spending bills with zero input from Members of Congress.  Don’t believe any of the hype by some of my Republican colleagues who voted for this budget:  it does not achieve any policy reforms, nor does it contain any real spending cuts.  Congress has until March 22 to pass the remaining six appropriations bills or risk another partial government shutdown.

By the way, nearly 700 people responded to my poll in last week’s newsletter, where I asked faithful Gosar Newsletter readers if they support shutting the government down if it means getting a spending deal that reins in wasteful spending.  646 individuals, or 93%, responded that the government should be shut down.  42 individuals, or 6%, responded that the government should not be shut down and 8 people, or 1% were unsure.

To Underreport Number of Illegal Aliens Crossing Border, Biden Flies Them Directly into Country

This week, a damning report from the Center for Immigration Studies(CIS) details the Biden administration finally admitting it has secretly flown over 320,000 illegal aliens into the 43 airports in the United States to artificially reduce the number crossing the southern border.  Refusing to identify the 43 airport locations, the secret arrivals have “created operations vulnerabilities at airports that bad actors could undermine law enforcement efforts to secure the United States border or inflict harm on public safety.”

Sound familiar?  That’s because I wrote about this in my newsletter way back in 2021 and some on the left accused me of making it up.  Well, I wasn’t making it up then and the public now knows that Biden is flying hundreds of thousands of lawbreakers all across the country with the help of a pre-approved cell phone scheduling app.

Hold on, before accusing President Trump of starting this program, I will stop all you liberal leftists reading this by noting the CIS study reports that “the program at the center of the FOIA litigation is perhaps the most enigmatic and least-known of the Biden administration’s uses of the CBP One cell phone scheduling app, even though it is responsible for almost invisibly importing by air 320,000 aliens with no legal right to enter the United States since it got underway in late 2022.” So, no, the program didn’t start under President Trump.

10 million illegal aliens have entered our country since Biden took office.  Another two million are known as “gotaways” and I suppose we can refer to these as the additional 332,000 “flownaways.”

Illegal Border Crossings are Killing Us

Speaking of illegal aliens, another week of Biden’s open borders and more Americans are killed.  I am not referring to the fentanyl, which is killing our young people (ages 18-40) at record rates, more than 100,000 per year.

I am referring to the Venezuelan, Chilean and Mexican gangs and criminals that have walked into our country, at the invitation of the Democrats, and have been on a rampage of crime and death.  See last week’s newsletter for more on these heinous crimes.

Let’s look at the data.

First, don’t forget that Biden and the Democrats tried to pay illegal aliens $450,000 each in 2021.   $450,000 because some of them were questioned separately under the Trump administration, which was attempting to determine if the children were being pimped out or actually traveling with family.  That is quite a payout while the government tried to figure out how children were crossing the border with men who they shared no DNA with.

For perspective, if an American soldier is killed in combat the family gets $400,000.

For further perspective, I have been trying to get full compensation for downwinders, these are folks who suffered death or disability due to nuclear testing fallout.  That compensation fund currently pays a maximum of $50,000 to those few who qualify.  My colleagues in Congress have fought tooth and nail against increasing the amount and the coverage areas.  Is that because this fund is to help American citizens?  But when illegal aliens are at issue, suddenly the big checkbook comes out.  I cannot think of a better example of how our federal government despises its own people.

Back to the data.  In 2020, Biden publicly stated that he wanted two million illegal aliens to “surge” into our country illegally.   We got that and more, at least 10 million since then.

In fact, since Joe Biden took office:

There have been 10 million illegal crossings nationwide plus another two million “gotaways.” That’s almost 12 million illegal aliens in just three years.   Don’t forget the 332,000 “flownaways” I noted in the previous story. This amount is greater than the population of 36 states.

340 illegal aliens (that we know of) are on the terrorist watchlist that were stopped trying to cross the Southern Border.

How many of these identified terrorists simply avoided capture or entered through remote areas?  How many terrorists are part of the 12 million that have come into our country since 2021 that are not on a terrorist watchlist?

Joe Biden doesn’t know, he’s cognitively unfit.  But I fear we may find out in the future.  Keep in mind that one of the main findings of the 9/11 Commission was tightening up our border and visa processes to avoid another 9/11.

There are OVER 60 instances of Joe Biden and his Administration taking actions that undermined our nation’s border security, including halting the construction of the border wall.

Biden’s Department of Homeland Security has now admitted that 40 percent of catch-and-release migrants have “disappeared.”

The only explanation for these actions is that the current administration detests lawful citizens, detests wage growth and full employment, detests people having affordable housing, and wants to register 12 million new democrats.

Since the Democrats control the Senate, and the House is divided with enough Republicans supporting the current invasion, we will not be able to start deportations and close the border until there is a new president and a new Congress with some backbone.

I pray that one day members of Congress and the White House love their own borders as much as they love Ukraine’s border.

COVID-19 Update

Some of you may recall that in mid-2020, at the height of the COVID-19 hysteria and amidst the misinformation being foisted upon us by the Fake News, Dr. Fauci, the Center for Disease Control, and others, I shared that one of the best things we could do is to improve our own immune systems.  I talked about getting sun, supplementing with Vitamin D, getting sleep, keeping our metabolic health in good condition, and if need be, rinsing your nose with a saline solution.  Immediately the Arizona Republic condemned me and then found a quack to disagree with these well-accepted (then and now) strategies.

This week a watershed meta-analysis study was released, and lo and behold, look who was right again:

“Our findings indicate that vitamin D supplementation has a protective effect against the incidence of COVID-19 in RCT studies (OR 0.403, 95% IC 0.218, 0.747), in the incidence of COVID-19 in analytical studies (OR = 0.592, 95% IC 0.476–0.736) and in ICU admission (OR 0.317, 95% IC 0.147–0.680). The only RCT evaluating vitamin D supplementation prior to COVID-19 infection and subsequent mortality was performed on 66 participants. People receiving vitamin D (in this case, a single bolus of 80,000 IU) had significantly lower mortality after adjustment for all potential confounders.”

Don’t ever forget the so-called experts who lied to us about COVID, its origins, its method of transmissibility, its risks to people lacking co-morbidities, the effectiveness of masks, the effectiveness and safety of the vaccine, and ways to stay healthy.  Our public health officials and agencies failed us at every key juncture.

DOD Investigating Over 50 Instances of Theft of Ukraine Money

We recently learned that the Department of Defense Inspector General has now opened over 50 criminal investigations involving your taxpayer money going to Ukraine.  Gosar Newsletter readers know I have opposed our involvement in Ukraine from the start.  I did not stutter in 2022 when I said every dollar we have should go to protect our own borders, not Ukraine’s border.  I have voted 100% of the time against sending billions of dollars of your money to the most corrupt country in Europe.

It can be no surprise that 50 criminal cases are being investigated when you send billions of dollars in unnecessary aid money to the most corrupt and authoritarian regime in Europe.

Let’s stop playing with people’s lives and stop funding a proxy war with Russia.  I have said it many times: we have no business in that war, we need the killing to stop and the flow of money to end.

I receive thousands of letters each month. Here are samples of some of the letters I received this week:

Tina W. from Goodyear shares:

I urge you to stand up to the proposed delegation of powers to the World Health Organization in the event of a future pandemic and the so-called “Pandemic Treaty.” These proposals greatly expand the authority of the WHO to dictate health policies affecting all Americans during public health emergencies, while also expanding the situations that can be considered public health emergencies.

Dear Tina – President Trump rightfully removed the United States from the WHO, but Joe Biden foolishly reversed that decision.  This treaty is replete with concerning language.  There is an enigmatic reference to “One Health surveillance,” which has yet to be defined in the document.  

The sovereign countries that must submit to this treaty have to make a series of promises for preventing and responding to pandemics, paving the way for more forced vaccinations.

I reject all types of international law, including this treaty.  Rather than massively increase the clout and breadth of the WHO the opposite is needed: the WHO should be eliminated. 

The United States is a sovereign nation whose citizens must decide for themselves the laws that bind them.  Any language that comes before Congress that shifts power from American citizens to unelected globalist foreigners is dead on arrival for me.

I am calling for an immediate investigation into who authorized veteran resources to be diverted to illegal aliens and why our Veteran Affairs is, once again, failing our veterans who are now struggling for care as they were before Trump policies reformed the system! I am calling on you to restore quality health care and ease of access to our veterans!

Dear Patrice – you raise a good point.  A troubling memo from Concerned Veterans for America shed light on the VA’s abuse of taxpayer funding to process claims for health care administered to illegal aliens, while simultaneously discouraging veterans from using the community care network.  Veterans in Arizona’s Ninth District are outraged and so am I.  If the VA has additional capacity to process claims, it should be redirected to veteran disability claims or comparable services rather than using its resources to assist illegal aliens.  It is unconscionable to prioritize any time, processing, or healthcare services for illegal aliens over American veterans.  I have signed a letter with my colleagues to the Secretary of the VA requesting transparency about the use of VA resources to care for illegal aliens.  Specifically, I requested the number of claims submitted for illegal aliens, the number of hours spent processing these claims, and any other services the VA provides to assist illegal aliens.  Please know, I am opposed to any prioritization of illegal aliens over veterans.  I will be sure to keep you updated.

I am really angry about how Biden and his administration get away with so much crap – the border is a mess, inflation is a mess and his foreign policy is a mess. I am and so are many Patriots of this country tired of this. Shut the government down, shut it down.  We need to send a message to the administration that we cannot go forward on anything until the budget is under control, if this Administration was running a Circle K that store would have closed a long time ago!  I served in the Marine Corps and my enlistment will never expire! This Country deserves better.

David, I am angry, too.  If you listened to Biden’s State of the Union remarks this week, you might think everything is peachy-keen.  You and I know better.  The level of lies, corruption and deception coming from this administration is at an all-time high.  Our country is worse off today than it was three years ago.  Our border is being invaded, violent crime and drugs are destroying communities across the nation and inflation from record spending is forcing families to have to choose between food for their kids or gasoline for their car. I can go on and on.  Let’s not disparage the good folks who work at Circle K – I honestly don’t think Mr. Biden or anyone in his administration is qualified to work there.  I can’t in good conscience support a budget that continues to waste trillions of your hard-earned dollars on policies that further lead this country into further despair.
