In our time, we’ve selected some incredible 13-year and 15-year straight bourbon barrels from Bull Run, in addition to some fantastic American Whiskey. It’s nice to get back to a straight bourbon, this time cognac finished. From the Seelbach’s 9-year to the Manifest Whiskey project to this 10-year, there has been no shortage of great, aged bourbons here on Seelbach’s. The nose is deep and rustic. Damp tobacco, sugared berries, vanilla bean and well balanced oak.

The palate erupts with flavor. Everything you want in a well aged bourbon with all the best parts of a funky finishing.

It begins with dried tobacco, cigar box, and well aged oak, and immediately transitions into plump yet slightly funky grape, blueberry, and raspberry candied fruit notes. All vanilla sweetened before a soft landing of mature, spiced oak.

The finish is long, with a ping pong of mature oak, vibrant candied fruitiness, and baking and wood spices lingering on.
