‘Hundreds’ of Whistleblowers Say Military Forcing ‘Anti-American Indoctrination’ on Them: Sen. Cotton

Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) on Thursday told Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin that “hundreds” of military whistleblowers have reported being forced to receive “anti-American indoctrination” training, including Critical Race Theory (CRT).
In a Senate hearing with Austin, Cotton claimed that within the military, there is “plummeting morale, growing mistrust between races and sexes where none existed just six months ago and unexpected retirements and separations based on these trainings alone.”
One whistleblower, Cotton alleged, said that military history training was replaced with training about police brutality, “systemic racism,” and “white privilege.” Another said that his unit had to read “White Fragility” by feminist author and critical theory proponent Robin DiAngelo, according to the senator.
In May, the Space Force confirmed that it relieved Lt. Col. Matthew Lohmeier, a former instructor and fighter pilot, as commander of the 11th Space Warning Squadron. While it did not specifically name the reason why, the Space Force cited comments made by Lohmeier during a podcast in which he denounced CRT and warned about the spread of Marxism within the ranks.
CRT, which draws heavily upon Marxist critical theory and postmodernist writers, denounces U.S. and Western culture as oppressive, and often claims American culture and institutions are promoting “systemic racism” or “white supremacy.” Some critics have said the ideology’s proponents apply the Marxist tactic of “class struggle” to drive people along the lines of gender, race, and ethnicity rather than between the “proletariat” and “bourgeoisie.

In the hearing, Austin told Cotton that some trainings are to make sure that the armed forces are “welcoming to everyone who can qualify and who is fit to serve.”
“We ought to look like the America we support and defend, and senior leadership should look like what’s in the ranks,” he said.
But Cotton suggested that claims the military is attempting to foster diversity with such training are incorrect, saying it is “about a very specific kind of anti-American indoctrination that is seeping into some parts of our military based on the whistleblower complaints we have received.”
“The military for decades has been one of the institutions in society where you are most likely to get ahead based on your own performance, your own merit, irrespective of the color of your skin, where you came from, who your parents were,” Cotton said.
Austin replied that “I absolutely agree with that, I am an example of that,” adding that the military needs to be “a bit better” and be “absolutely inclusive” and promote “equity.” The terms “inclusive” and “equity” have been, for years, used in social justice circles.
Austin then argued that by doing so, it will be the “most effective and lethal fighting force in the world.”
Taxi….this is from a friend
I would like to share a personal experience with my friends about drinking and driving.
This might save you the cost and embarrassment of being arrested for DUI.
Folks have been known to have brushes with the police often on the way home after a “social session” with family or friends.
Well, last week, it happened to me as I was out for the evening at a party and had more than several margaritas coupled with a bottle of rather nice red wine.
Although relaxed, I still had the common sense to know I was slightly over the limit.
That’s when I did something I’ve never done before…I took a taxi home.
On the way home there was a police roadblock, but since it was a taxi they waved us past and I arrived home safely without incident.
These roadblocks can be anywhere and I realized how lucky I was to have chosen the taxi.
The real surprise to me was I had never driven a taxi before, I don’t know where I got it, and now that it’s in my garage, I don’t know what to do with it.

It’s not a political game. Sen. Sinema’s position on the filibuster is becoming increasingly unsustainable and Arizona Democrats are speaking out. Gubernatorial candidates Katie Hobbes andMarco Lopez both indirectly called on Sinema to scrap the filibuster, while Arizona Senate and House Democrats released a letter directly asking Sinema to reform the Senate rule so we can protect our right to vote. These statements came as Arizonans grow increasingly frustrated by Sen. Sinema’s apparent willingness to allow Republicans to wield the filibuster to block the For the People Act, amid anti-voter attacks in state legislatures nationwide. Don’t miss this important piece on the filibuster and the For the People Act from the perspective of an Arizona veteran.
Arizona’s climate crisis. The pains of the climate crisis are already being felt here in Arizona as the Legislature refuses to addressmost of its effects. It was reported that Lake Mead’s water supply is at the lowest level in history, resulting from extreme drought conditions and water demands. Arizona also received its first excessive heat warning this year, with temperatures for the coming week forecast at up to 117°F across Central Arizona. Additionally, wildfire season is in full swing this year, with multiple fires burning over 263,000 acres across the state. Like the COVID crisis, the climate crisis continues to highlight disparities between communities, with already marginalized and underserved communities often suffering disproportionate effects.
MCAO drops the charges. Charges against the dozen 10/17 protestors who were falsely accused of being in a criminal street gang were dismissed with prejudice on Friday. These political prosecutions were dropped largely thanks to the work of Mass Liberation AZ and ABC15’s investigative series exposing the targeting, lies, and dubious evidence in protest cases brought by Phoenix PD and MCAO. Calls continue for Allister Adel and the MCAO office to face accountability for their abuses of power in this and other cases.

The Berean – Galatians 4:8 NKJV
Galatians 4:8
(8) But then, indeed, when you did not know God, you served those which by nature are not gods.
New King James Version Change your email Bible version
Prior to God’s intervention in their lives, when they did not have a relationship with Him, the Galatians (in particular) and the world (in general) were in bondage to and slaves of the Babylonish system, even a worship of demons—”so-called gods” (I Corinthians 8:5).
In the New Testament, there are two Greek words that are translated as “to know”—ginooskein (Strong’snumber G1097) and eidenai (Strong’s number G1492). According to Vincent’s Word Studies in the New Testament, ginooskein is knowledge grounded in personal experience or apprehension of external impressions. It is used to describe relationships, even up to the most intimate of relationships—marriage (“And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived”). Eidenai, the word used in Galatians 4:8, is a mental perception in contrast with conjecture or knowledge derived from others.
The Jews at least knew of God and knew about God, but they did not really know God in terms of having a relationship with Him. He revealed Himself to Israel when He brought them out of Egypt and gave them the law, and the knowledge that such a God existed never really passed from all of the generations. After a remnant of the two southern tribes, Judah and Benjamin, returned to Jerusalem from captivity, they restored the proper worship of God and began adhering to the law that He had given to them. Later, various sects (Pharisees, Sadducees, Essenes, etc.) arose and began putting their own spin on the original God-given law. They wanted to make absolutely certain that they would not transgress His law in even the smallest degree, so they would not have to go back into captivity.
What developed was Halakhah, which was loosely based on the Old Covenant but contained ordinances and judgments that are far from God’s original ideal. This, in combination with Hellenism, developed into what is now called Judaism. So at the base of all this, the Jews at least know that there is one true God, but their emphasis on Halakhah made them reject Christ when He came as a man. There was at least a “mental perception” (eidenai), even though there was not a real relationship (ginooskein).
The Gentiles, on the other hand, did not even have a concept (eidenai) of the true God. They worshipped and served a wide variety of pagan deities, and in actuality, this worship was inspired by and centered on demons. In the letter to the Galatians, Paul was addressing not only the dangerous slide into Judaism, but also the return to pagan rites inspired by Gnosticism.
