Residents of Coolidge may have a new regional park coming to their city. For what would be Coolidge’s biggest park, the city is initiating discussions with its on-call design firm, Logan Simpson Design of Tempe, to prepare a regional park master plan. Read more about the plans for the park.

Speaking of Coolidge, another gas station is coming to the area as well. Construction has started on a three-island gas station next to Shope’s Market on the southern outskirts of the city, said Coolidge Economic Services Director Gilbert Lopez.

Lastly, the Pinal County Board of Supervisors was visited by Arizona senators to discuss election integrity. Sen. Wendy Rogers, R-Flagstaff, and Arizona Sen. Sonny Borrelli, R- Lake Havasu City, spoke about a Senate resolution requiring voting system components to be designed, manufactured, integrated and assembled in the United States. They also urged the board to count ballots by hand.
