SCUDERIA FERRARI
BIENVENUE CHEZ LECLERC
A few days on from the Spanish Grand Prix, the Formula 1 World Championship is back on track for the most unusual race on the calendar, the Monaco Grand Prix. It’s the home race for Charles Leclerc and it is the shortest race of the season, at 260 kilometres, rather than the usual distance of just over 300. It is also the hardest track on which to overtake.
The Monaco GP presents drivers and teams with a unique challenge, best illustrated by the fact that in 1996, only four cars took the chequered flag. One would be hard pushed to find a labyrinth of streets less suited to the current Formula 1 cars. But the appeal of the Principality is unique and winning this race is up there with taking the world title.
Charles Leclerc and Carlos recently put aside their race suits and helmets to become voice actors for a day, stepping up to the microphone for the latest Disney Pixar feature film, “Lightyear” which tells the “true” story of Buzz Lightyear.
