AWLA
Dear friends,
If you’re like me, it breaks your heart to see animals wait so long to find a loving home. Hollyleaf is no exception!
This green-eyed beauty had a rocky start —she was diagnosed with diabetes, covered in matted fur, and terrified of anyone who came near her. After a good shave to clean her up, and weeks of patience and treats, Hollyleaf finally realized that people weren’t so bad.
In fact… people are awesome because they give Hollyleaf all the pets and snuggles she wants! (See for yourself in this video!)
Despite her cuteness and playful personality — Hollyleaf has been with AWLA for more than six months now. Thanks to your support, Hollyleaf continues to get all the time she needs to find a family who will love her unconditionally and help manage her diabetes.
From kittens and puppies who need time to grow up to cats and dogs who need medical treatment (or just a warm bed), there are hundreds of animals who need you now more than ever.
If you donate before the June 30th deadline, that means TWICE as much will be available to give every animal the time, love, and care they deserve until they find a loving home.
Thank you for being a hero to all animals — Hollyleaf and her friends appreciate you!
Gratefully,
Meghan, Development Associate
P.S. Our matching gift deadline on June 30th is only a couple weeks away, and the animals at AWLA need your help now. Don’t miss this chance to have your donation matched and your compassionate contribution doubled!
P.P.S. If you have already donated and had your gift matched, Thank You! Your support goes a long way to ensure the animals at AWLA get the love and care they need and deserve — just like Hollyleaf.

Samaritan’s Purse
Lend a Hand in the Soggy
Southlands
Volunteers are urgently needed to serve in Louisiana, Arkansas, and Mississippi after massive spring thunderstorms triggered flash floods in all three states. Some areas received more than 20 inches of rain. Canals overflowed. Levees were breached. Torrents of water gushed into hundreds of homes.Sign Up to Volunteer
Our Disaster Relief Units—tractor-trailers filled with equipment and supplies—have deployed to a trio of the hardest hit locations: Lake Charles, Louisiana; Dumas, Arkansas; and Mound Bayou, Mississippi. Teams will help remove soaked walls, floors, and insulation, and carry soggy debris to the curb. Come join us and share the love of Christ—let hurting homeowners know that God has not forgotten them.
Please pray for those who have lost so much to these devastating storms. Pray, too, that the Lord will raise up an army of volunteers to help in this response.
This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.
John 15:12
