Sainz-Camacho was kidnapped a few days earlier by armed men who broke into a Phoenix residence. Court records show Munoz’s cell phone had allegedly been in the same location where the teenager’s body was eventually recovered. Investigators additionally found a photograph of someone resembling Munoz holding a rifle that matched the same firearm used during the kidnapping.
