The Cal Poly Architectural Engineering (ARCE) Department concludes its 75th anniversary with the release of The Vision: Realized. It is a follow-up book to The Vision, published in 1972, which provides the history of the ARCE program.
Through photographs and prose, The Vision: Realized makes the case that the collaborative, multidisciplinary, student-based program on the central California coast created by George Hasslein and his recruited faculty members lives on. The publication is a testament to the ARCE program’s enduring success and the vision of its founders.
We hope you like our book and will feel compelled to contribute to the next 75 years of innovation and achievement.
Many of the activities cited in The Vision: Realized were made possible by donations from alumni and friends like you. To learn how you can support the next 75 years of programs and activities, visit ARCE’s giving page.
