On behalf of the National Partnership for Women & Families, I am pleased to share some exciting news about our annual event on June 3rd, in Washington, D.C.!
We are thrilled to announce another esteemed honorees for this year’s event: M’Evie Mead!
M’Evie Mead has over 30 years leading progressive power building work in Missouri and nationally. In her current position as Director of Strategic Partnerships with Missouri Jobs With Justice, Mead is building upon the successful coalition which supported Missourians for Healthy Families & Fair Wages/Proposition A, a campaign which passed in November 2024 with 57% of Missouri voters in support. Prop A brings earned paid sick days to Missouri workers and gradually raises the minimum wage to $15 per hour in 2026.
Mead has led many of our partner organizations including Planned Parenthood Advocates of Missouri, Missouri Organizing and Voter Engagement Collaborative (MOVE Action), and the Women’s Political Caucus.
If you aren’t able to join us, please consider funding the critical work we do. Your tax-deductible donation will be matched by generous contributions from our past and present board members!
Each dollar you donate will have twice the impact in helping us build a better America that truly values women’s lives and uplifts women’s contributions to our society and economy.
Thank you for helping advance our mission.
With gratitude,
— Sara
