Happy New Year! While 2023 is an off year for elections in most states, it is a big election year for Virginia.

We already have two special elections coming up before we jump into state-wide races this fall. Due to the sudden death of Congressman McEachin, Virginia’s 4th Congressional District is holding a special election on February 21st.

We have just launched campaigns to turn out voters for this historic election; it could be Virginia’s chance to send its first Black woman to Congress. Join us this Thursday to learn more about this critical election. 

Our goal to ensure our voters don’t sit out this ‘very special’ election. Voters have the opportunity to vote for their values and to protect voting rights and equality. We are postcarding the smaller rural counties and texting and phonebanking the larger ones.
