We were delighted to welcome so many of you to the 2025–26 ASU President’s Club Kickoff at the Walton Center for Planetary Health. Your presence and engagement made the evening truly meaningful, as we launched another year of partnership and progress together.

Panel on “Reshaping Our Relationship with the Planet”

The evening began with a conversation, moderated by Dr. Peter Schlosser, Vice Provost and Vice President of Global Futures, that brought together a dynamic group of experts and emerging leaders driving innovation in energy, water and ocean sustainability. Together, they shared how ASU is advancing real-world solutions that address humanity’s greatest challenges and inspire a more sustainable future.

Their discussion brought to life one of ASU’s key campaign priorities, Reshaping Our Relationship with the Planet, a pillar of the Changing Futures. From Arizona. For the World. campaign. Through their drive, ASU continues to lead amongst our peers in discovery, innovation and a deep commitment to impact.

Keynote Remarks by President Crow

As the highlight of the evening, President Michael Crow reflected on the progress and momentum that continue to define ASU’s transformation and growing global impact. He emphasized that ASU’s purpose is to produce people, ideas and solutions, and that understanding where we are today is essential to advancing to what’s next.

President Crow also underscored the power of philanthropy as a catalyst for change, highlighting how the President’s Club continues to play a vital role in advancing the ASU Charter, expanding access, accelerating innovation and empowering the next generation of changemakers. He shared that the President’s Club has been woven into ASU’s story of growth, your generosity providing the means to dream bigger, act bolder and turn ideas into impact. He expressed deep gratitude for the generosity of President’s Club supporters, noting that, “You give me the means to be entrepreneurial in this mission, the mission for the future.”
