Happy St. Patrick’s Day! If you are looking for fun events to attend around the county, well, its your lucky day! Plenty of events are headed to Pinal County very soon, including Maricopa’s Night Market. On April 22, the event will celebrate diversity and art, with the city showcasing different cultures through art, food and music.
Also, in Maricopa, local artists will be on display tomorrow at a fundraiser for Maricopa Friends of the Arts at Raceway Bar and Grill. The free event will feature the unique art form of glass blowing and help aspiring artists gain exposure within the city.
Finally, in Arizona City, kids in the area will have a chance to beat the heat at Arizona City Fire District’s Water and Safety Days. During the summer months, kids can enjoy giant water slides, while also learning valuable lessons about what to do in an emergency situation.
Ask any of the past or present Dancing for Our Stars participants and they will tell you that the first word that comes to mind when they think about the experience is “fun.”
Those who miss the glam metal bands of the 1980s are in for a treat when the community cast of โRock of Agesโ take the stage in the Pence Center at 7 p.m. March 31 and 2 and 7 p.m. April 1.
The Pinal County Fair opened its gates Wednesday and while some rushed to midway rides or games, inside the stills exhibits building, some attendees waited to find out if theyโd won a blue ribbon.
