It’s September and the stores have already hauled out the Halloween decorations and candy. Look, I’m a huge fan of Pumpkin Spice and confiscating fun-sized candy bars from my daughter’s Halloween candy, but come on.
Anyway, there’s still plenty of end-of-summer fun to be had this weekend. For example, the Casa Grande Main Street’s monthly Downtown After Dark evening is tonight. There will be food to purchase and games to play. Make sure you bring the kids.
And if you’re still pining for all things fall-related, you might want to express your feelings at the Yoga Recovery and Healing Arts Project’s Open Mic Night on Saturday at the Black Box Theater.
In the meantime, I’ll be scrubbing down the grill for one last summer BBQ.
