Mattia Binotto: “Dear Peter, it was a very difficult weekend for us and it was clear that we were already struggling in qualifying and that was accentuated even more in yesterday’s race.”
SCUDERIA FERRARI
A DIFFICULT RACE
Scuderia Ferrari’s Mexico City Grand Prix was straightforward. Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc did the best they could with the package they had, but yesterday, as indeed was also the case over the rest of the weekend, the F1-75 did not have the pace to match that of the other top teams.
Yesterday we did everything we could to get the best result possible, but unfortunately the pace was not there, so P5 was the maximum we could aim for.
