2026 Brophy Power Breakfast

Dear Brophy Community,
This morning, more than 900 members of our community gathered for the 21st annual Power Breakfast, a tradition that began with a simple idea and a free burrito, and has since helped transform our campus in lasting ways.
Today’s program, featuring NBA Hall of Famer and Brophy parent Steve Nash, centered on a simple truth: sports give us gifts we do not always expect. They teach resilience. They build belonging. They shape character when no one is watching.
We heard that truth in the story of Coach Matt Hooten’s journey, in senior Colin Goossen’s reflection on becoming the person he was meant to be, and in the quiet confidence of students who continue to grow through challenge and support. These moments are why Brophy athletics matter, not only for wins and championships, but for the formation of young men who carry these lessons forward into their lives.
This year’s Power Breakfast supports the renovation of Robson Gym, a space that sits at the heart of our campus. It is where students begin their Brophy journey and where they finish it. With your generosity, we will renew this space so it continues to serve our mission in the years ahead.
Thank you to our table captains, sponsors, volunteers, students, and staff who made this morning possible. And thank you to every member of this community who continues to support Brophy’s mission to form Men for Others.
AMDG,

Bob Ryan
