Hey Rj — the 48 hours since we won the primary election have been a whirlwind. This is my first opportunity to come up for air, and I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you.

We would not have gotten here without an incredible team of grassroots supporters doing so much to make it happen: donating, knocking on doors, making phone calls, putting up with our emails, getting the word out to friends and family — and, most importantly, voting.

I want you to know, Rj, that your support has made a real difference in this incredibly competitive race. Not only did it help us win the primary, it helped us get off to a strong start right out of the gate in the general election. This is going to be one tough fight, but I truly believe we have the momentum, and that’s all thanks to you and to every member of this team.

Make no mistake: there’s still a long way to go. We’re going to face more than our share of unfair attacks. We’re going to see misleading and frustrating headlines.

But I know that if we stand together and keep up the fight, we can win this race. We can send a powerful message to the nation that the people will not stand for constant attacks on our freedoms, our livelihood, and the rule of law.

And then we can get right to work making life easier and more affordable for New Jersey families — because that’s what the people of this state are looking for in their next governor, and it’s what they deserve.
