Dear Friend,
People often ask me what it’s like to stand beside someone like Malcolm. Since it is Pride Month, I am happy to give you a peek.
Here’s what I say: it’s humbling. Not just because of his eloquence or work ethic—but because of the way he carries our people’s hope with humor, relentless rigor, and a deep love for the communities that shaped him. It’s why I’m honored to be his First Gentleman—wherever he brings his talents, from North Philly and all 67 counties of Pennsylvania and Washington, D.C.
It’s no surprise to me that Malcolm became the first openly LGBTQ+ person of color ever elected in Pennsylvania history—and that he’s continued to make history in all of his prior races and his national leadership roles today.
Supporting Malcolm isn’t about one election or one office. It’s about believing in a future where integrity and imagination aren’t opposites. It’s about helping someone who’s already given everything keep going.
If you believe in that kind of leadership, I invite you to give today to support the bold openly proud future he is building every day.
