The path to flipping the House is through AZ-01

It’s Melanie — Marlene’s Finance Director.

I’m going to ask you to help us reach our critical end-of-month fundraising goal by pitching in $5, $10, $25, or whatever you can, but first, I want to tell you a bit more about Marlene’s race in AZ-01.

1. 1. AZ-01 is a toss-up. This will be one of the most competitive races of 2026, so we have to shore up as many resources as possible early on to connect with as many voters as we can.

1. 1. This is one of three seats Democrats need to win to flip the House blue. Democrats must take back control of the House to put an end to the Republican trifecta of power that has resulted in fewer rights for us and economic turmoil nationwide.

1. David Schweikert rode Trump’s coattails in 2024. Data shows Trump gave him an advantage, but he won’t have that edge next year with Trump no longer on the ballot.

Peter, defeating David Schweikert is possible, but we are going to need help from grassroots supporters like you every step of the way. We have to flip the House blue to begin building back the foundations of our democracy and reigning in Trump’s abuse of power.
