Seasonal migration is more than just a spectacle, it shines a light on the myriad challenges birds face during their epic journeys. In 2025, we developed a new framework to better understand threats to over 100 migratory species and found that birds travelling the longest distances across the Americas are at highest risk. This underscores the need for coordinated hemispheric conservation efforts to protect birds, a critical piece of the work that we do thanks to support from caring bird lovers like you, Peter Anthony. By continuing to learn more about the threats these birds face during their annual cycle, we can focus on the places and actions that will have the biggest impact for securing their future.

So please, join us in protecting birds with a dependable annual gift while you can still receive the Audubon calendar year after year as our thanks.

Sincerely,

National Audubon Society
