Rj, we’re old enough to remember when Secretary Doug Collins let Elon Musk and DOGE run through the VA and break whatever they wanted.

He stood by as they fired the people who staffed the Veterans Crisis Line.

And we haven’t forgotten Collins’ plans: He hasn’t backed off his threat to fire 83,000 more VA staff by the end of the fiscal year.

To push back, Senators Blumenthal and Gallego are holding up his political appointees. He won’t get any of his appointees approved until he backs off these disastrous plans. Not that complicated.

So, imagine our surprise when Collins started complaining. This guy wants to fire thousands of Veterans. He’s going to increase wait times, hurt care, cause undue harm to Veterans — but he is complaining because he can’t get his political appointees!

Oh, boo hoo 😭

Secretary Collins, here’s an idea:

BACK OFF AND DON’T FIRE 83,000 VA STAFF! If you agree, please add your name and demand Secretary Collins stop destroying the VA.
