Oscar Piastri becomes the new leader of the 2025 Formula 1 World Championship!
The McLaren driver crossed the finish line 2.8 seconds ahead of polesitter, Max Verstappen. They were joined on the podium by Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc – his first top three finish this season.
It was also a good day for Williams, with Sainz and Albon finishing 8th and 9th, respectively. Unfortunately, the same can’t be said for Tsunoda and Gasly, who came together on lap 1, forcing them to retire.
