The 2025 Formula 1 season is finally underway! Lando Norris continued his good form from last year, obtaining both pole position and the race win.

Rain on Sunday caused plenty of chaos up and down the grid. Oscar Piastri’s hopes of a podium on home turf were destroyed after he found his MCL39 spinning onto the grass. Meanwhile, Kimi Antonelli was the stand-out rookie, starting the race from 16th, but crossing the finish line in P4.

Other notable performances were that of Alex Albon, Lance Stroll, and Nico Hulkenberg, who finished in 5th, 6th, and 7th, respectively.

It wasn’t the weekend that Lewis Hamilton would have wished for as he debuted with Ferrari – only managing P10. Verstappen on the other hand kept Norris on his toes, finishing just 0.8 seconds behind the McLaren driver.
