President Trump Delivers Address to the American People
This week, I attended President Trump’s address to the American people before a joint session of Congress. Speaking directly to the American people, the speech was powerful and inspirational. During his remarks, the president reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening our economy following the past four years of runaway inflation and economic misery caused by Joe Biden. President Trump also highlighted the historic, record-setting achievements of his first six weeks in office and the immediate, real-life, positive impacts of his America First agenda including taking steps to seal the southern border, deporting over 60,000 criminal illegal aliens, reshoring American jobs, attracting hundreds of billions of dollars in new investment, exposing billions of dollars of government waste, fraud and abuse and reestablishing peace and stability around the world.
During the entire speech, Democrats collectively chose not to applaud or stand when President Trumpmade a dream come true by making a black child with brain cancer an honorary Secret Service agent; announced we had caught the terrorist responsible for killing 13 Marines during Biden’s disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan; told a teenager whose father recently died that he received an appointment to go to West Point, making him the fourth generation of his family to serve; honored the families of two young women killed by illegal immigrants; or when he honored the wife of a cop killed in the line of duty.
Despite the anger and rage on full display by congressional Democrats, a poll taken by CBS News following President Trump’s remarks show that 76% of Americans approve of his remarks. President Trump’s address clearly resonated with viewers and Americans are on board with his vision.
Republicans in Congress are working hand in glove with President Trump and are using every tool at our disposal to restore the rule of law, secure the border, end the fentanyl crisis, bring jobs back and put Americans first.
February Border Crossings Plunge to Levels Not Seen in Decades
This week, new data was released by Customs and Border Protection showing that only8,450 illegal aliens crossed the southern border last month, making February 2025 the lowest monthly total since at least 2000. According to news reports, over the past 25 years, the only time monthly apprehensions came close to the level recorded in February was in April 2017, when Border Patrol apprehended 11,000 illegals at the southwest border. There were many occasions during the Biden-open-border administration when Border Patrol recorded more than 8,000 apprehensions per day. For a greater perspective, compared with the same month in previous years under the Biden administration, there were 189,913 illegal border crossings in February 2024; 156,630 in February 2023; and 166,010 in February 2022. This decline follows strict border enforcement measures under President Trump, including military support along the border, ending catch and release, and expedited deportations. During his address to the American people this week, Donald Trump touted the record-low border crossings by aptly noting: “The media and our friends in the Democrat Party kept saying we needed new legislation to secure the border, but it turned out that all we really needed was a new president.” You’re so right, President Trump!
By the way, more than 70 nations, including France, South Korea, Hong Kong, Israel, South Africa, Egypt, Kuwait, Poland, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Hungary and India have border walls to control border crossings, keep out illegals, stem drug trafficking and prevent human smuggling.
Promises made, promises kept.
Guess Who Said It?
It’s time to play Guess Who Said It? Can you identify who said the following:
We are a nation of immigrants. We are also a nation of laws. Undocumented workers broke our immigration laws, and I believe that they must be held accountable, especially those who are dangerous. If you are a criminal, you will be deported. If you plan to enter the United States illegally, your chance of getting caught and sent back just went up.
George W. Bush.
Joe Biden
C. Barack Obama
D. Donald Trump
All Americans, not only in the states most heavily affected but in every place in this country, are rightly disturbed by the large number of illegal aliens entering our country. The jobs they hold might otherwise be held by American citizens. The public service they use impose burdens on our taxpayers. That’s why my administration has moved aggressively to secure our borders by hiring a record number of new border guards, by deporting criminal aliens, by cracking down on illegal hiring, and by barring welfare benefits to illegal aliens.
George W. Bush
Ronald Reagan
Bill Clinton
Donald Trump
The reason I believe a fence is needed [along the southern border] is because people are driving across the border with tons of everything from byproducts for methamphetamine to cocaine to heroin and it is all coming up through corrupt Mexico.
Donald Trump
Joe Biden
George W. Bush
Bill Clinton
Who did you guess? Be honest! If you answered Donald Trump, you are wrong! In fact, all three quotes were said by Democrats.
The answers are: #1 – Barack Obama, #2 – Bill Clinton, #3 – Joe Biden.
Isn’t it shocking how far the Left has moved and has abandoned America in favor of crime, open borders and illicit drugs pouring into our communities in a relatively short period of time?
Court Permanently Blocks 15-week Abortion Ban in Arizona
A court in Arizona ruled this week that the ban on aborting babies over 15 weeks in gestation was unconstitutional and blocked the law permanently. You may recall that Supreme Court of the United States overruled Roe v. Wade and held that each state could make its own laws on abortion. Arizona did so, and now there are virtually no abortion restrictions under a ballot proposition passed in 2024.
Whether abortion is legal or not, it remains immoral. My hope is that abortions are resorted to less and less no matter their legal status.

It’s Mail Time!
📬 I receive thousands of letters each week and I appreciate hearing from everyone. Here are a few letters I received this week:
📨 Doug L. from Yuma, AZ writes:
Dear Sir, I want to thank you and your staff for what you do for me and the veterans in your district. I contacted you with my problem and had an answer from you within a week, informing me that you had contacted the VA. I was then informed that I had an appointment to see an NP at the Yuma VA Clinic in three days. Five-star rating for both you and your staff. God bless you.
✍ Dear Doug – I’m very happy to hear my team was able to assist in resolving your matter with the VA. If you need any further help, we are always here to assist.
📨 Israel M. from Kingman, AZ shares:
I just wanted to provide an update, the FBI emailed me with a reversal of their DENY, and I was able to pick up my 125-year-old first generation Colt revolver just now! I can’t prove it, but it’s such an unbelievable turnaround speed that I have to conclude that simply by opening an inquiry with Congressman Gosar, we forced the FBI to quickly address my problem to our satisfaction. The gun shop owner said “you must know someone, this is uncommon!” I am extremely grateful for you acting on my behalf, to have my 2A right restored.
✍ Israel, this is wonderful news, and I am happy to have been able to help. Gun ownership is a legal right protected by the Second Amendment. Yet, too many on the left are more interested in infringing on that right, rather than protecting it. I have been a lifelong supporter of responsible gun ownership. We must remain vigilant and enforce all of our constitutional rights, not simply pick and choose the ones we like. Our fundamental and inherent rights are not dependent upon which president, or which Congress, is in office. I will never stop fighting for the Second Amendment. If you ever need further assistance, please don’t hesitate to give my office a call.
📨 Beverly B. from Tempe, AZ wrote in:
I believe everyone that is on the USAID committee that approved our money to be used in those ways should have to pay it back! Every cent!!! Who ever heard of sending thousands of dollars for condoms and supporting terrorists and supporting evil? Every US citizen should be sickened that such people could take advantage of us in such an appalling way! Thank you for your help in fighting against such evil in our government. Satan is everywhere and the government is not immune.
✍ Beverly, I completely agree with you. USAID’s misuse of taxpayer dollars under the Biden administration is egregious. DOGE remains committed to rooting out the waste, fraud, and abuse of taxpayer dollars in the federal government. Sadly, I suspect there are many millions of dollars of waste yet to be uncovered, but it will be, I can assure you of that.
