Wickenburg, AZ — Congressman Paul A. Gosar, D.D.S. (AZ-09), issued the following statement inviting high school students in Arizona’s Ninth Congressional District to participate in the 2025 Congressional Art Competition:
“I am pleased to announce the 2025 Congressional Art Competition and extend an invitation to all high school students with Arizona’s 9thCongressional district in grades 8th-12th including those in homeschool, online schools, or alternative learning programs to participate. My office will be accepting submissions until Friday, April 11, 2025.
Each spring, the Congressional Institute sponsors a nationwide high school visual art competition to recognize and encourage artistic talent in the nation and in each congressional district. Since the Artistic Discovery competition began in 1982, more than 650,000 high school students have participated.
The first-place-winning artwork will be displayed for one year in the United States Capitol. The Congressional Art Competition is a great opportunity to encourage and showcase the incredibly talented high school artists from Arizona,” concluded Congressman Gosar.
